God

WHAT DOES GOD SEE?
Squares and circles, straight lines and squiggles,
Patches of green shaded with brown,
Ribbon like highways, yellow stropped on black,
How does God see His creation … today?

Littered with “Stuff” like bottles and cans,
God wonders what happened to His wonderful plan?
The humans He made have sent His word spinning,
Causing the pain with nothing of giving.

The Tree of Life that gave us the “knowledge”,
Cursed us with pain and gave us no gain,
Caused us to flea from God’s holy sight,
Covered with skins, to hide from His light.

The little I see from the plane where I sit,
Is nothing compared to God’s holy sight,
The outside is cold, the air super thin,
God gives me a glimpse of hoe fragile I am.

With majesty glimpsed, of how things ought to be,
God shows me His love and what He thinks of me,
The little I can see, of this globe where I live,
From 40,000 feet, God says, “Just be still.”
